Anwar al-Awlaki is an American citizen. He is also a high-ranking al Qaeda propagandist and spiritual leader who counseled the Fort Hood shooter on his murderous mission. He inspired Feisal Shahzad, the Muslim jihadist who tried to set off a car bomb in Times Square. He approved the Christmas Day attempted bombing of Northwest Flight 253 over Detroit. He has called for jihad against his own country.
The current deficit of the United States -the difference between the federal government’s expenditures and its revenues- is roughly 1.3 trillion dollars, according to the Department of Commerce. That’s how much the government has to borrow in order to finance crucial services, such as Barbara Boxer’s research trips. Members of the Statist Democratic Party tell us that the only way to close this deficit is to raise taxes, whether through higher levies on “the rich” (the definition of which is rather broad) or some form of a value-added tax on top of everything else, or a combination of both.

Last night, I wrote about how this is the year of the Desperate Democrat, a year in which Democrats will stoop to new lows in order to try and keep their seats and majorities. One of the people mentioned in what I wrote last night was moonbat Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL-8th district) who is battling to keep his seat against Republican challenger Daniel Webster. In one nasty ad, Grayson lied about Webster’s military record by saying that he “dodged the draft.” It was a strawman he deliberately set up to try and impugn Webster’s patriotism. FactCheck set the record straight on that one. In the lastest vicious attack by Grayson, Webster is called “Taliban Dan” due to quotes about the Bible he made which were – you guessed it – taken grossly out of context to the point where it’s shown that Grayson, once again, has flat out lied.
