Tonight while I was searching my archives for something I had written about before I came across a brief post I wrote about a James Taranto article on how the media had gone from being “watchdogs” under Bush to now being lapdogs for Obama. Unfortunately, I neglected to include the link to Taranto’s column in my post, and I have tried several different ways to find it tonight via Google – with no luck.
Good news: Former first lady Barbara Bush has been transfered out of ICU today and into a private room, two days after having heart surgery to replace her aortic valve.
FYI, this evening I’m having the site upgraded to the most recent version of Word Press. The only thing I see missing from the upgrade is the “recent comments/trackback” section you normally see on the right side of the page. You can still read and post comments in individual posts, but at least temporarily you won’t see the recent comments section.
Being political junkies, we tend to do a lot of worrying, debating, and complaining over the year, but Thanksgiving gives us a chance to take a time out to say the “thanks” we sometimes forget to say when we need to.
