The Panthers are playing an away game this afternoon against the Oakland Raiders. The Cats lead in the NFC South, and would love to add another win to the “W” column against a 2-6 Oakland team that has been struggling this season. Game time is 4 PM ET and it will be broadcast on Fox.
I got back about an hour ago from early voting here in Charlotte. I had planned on waiting til election day, but changed my mind when I read about all the lines here. I figured the lines we are seeing now would only be longer on election day, even in the early morning, which is when I usually go to vote.
Sorry I’m a little late starting this thread. The 4-2 Cards are leading the 5-2 Panthers 3-0 early in the second qtr.
This morning I noted that I had to a story to tell about two recent Obama supporter “road rage” incidents that have happened to me in the last two weeks. One happened last week, and the other this morning. Nearly 12 hours after this morning’s incident happened, I’m still feeling a hell of a lot of anger about it. I thought after a few hours I would have calmed down some from it but I haven’t, so excuse me if I use a bad word a time or two in this post. Also, apologies for any typos. I’ve had an exhausting week and right now my I’m thinking faster than I can type 😉
These two division rivals are tangling it up here in Charlotte this afternoon. The Saints stand at 3-3 while the Cats are in a three way tie with Tampa and Atlanta at 4-2. The Panthers are coming off an extremely embarassing loss to Tampa last week, and hope to rebound today with a win over Drew Brees and co, while Brees is looking to build on the 34-3 win the Saints had over Oakland last week.
