We got some serious rain here in Charlotte and most of the state today. Somewhere in the neighborhood of over two inches. By the time I left the 8-5, it was down to a drizzle, but the clouds were some of the thickest I’ve ever seen. See the dark images that look like thick smoke in the middle and top parts of this picture? Those are the clouds.
I’m having a busy afternoon here at the 8-5 … I’ll be back tonight.

Just wanted to let you know that I haven’t fallen off the planet. I’ve been spending the weekend with la familia, finishing up some Christmas shopping, and helping out with decorating two different houses.
