Happy New Year :)
Hard to believe it, but another year has come and gone, and it’s time to make some more new year’s resolutions that we know we’re all gonna break within a couple of weeks. Well, hopefully we won’t break all of them, anyway. If you’re like me, you’re gonna lay low and spend a quiet evening at home, maybe drinking a couple of glasses of champagne while watching ABC, waiting for the ball to drop in Times Square at midnight. I’ve been off work since last Thursday, and I’ve been on the go so much that it’s about time I took an evening off. So no night out for me.
New Year’s Eve open thread
I’m off today, and have some errand running to do. Will be back later this afternoon/early evening (yes, I’ll be spending a quiet New Year’s Eve evening at home).

Christmas Eve open thread
Sorry for the light blogging – got lots going on at the 8-5 today. The next three days, blogging will be sporadic (as I suspect readership will be as well) as the holiday festivities begin.
