Most of you have already heard today about the news articles that came out today about how tomorrow, President Obama is supposed to issue an executive order to shut down Gitmo Bay within the year. As if that’s not bad enough, today Rep. John Murtha, infamous for slandering our Marines over the Haditha controversy, offered to house the detainees in his district:

Any guesses as to how many on the far left pranced around with glee when they read this news? God help if we get attacked again, and if it happens and it turns out that even one of the released Gitmo Hotel guests had any role to play in it, there will be hell to pay to all who badgered the adminstration on their Gitmo policy, but that will be one “Toldjah So” many of us won’t relish pointing out.

Journalist Michael Yon, who as we all know has done some incredible embed reporting with various combat units both in Iraq and Afghanistan over the last several years since 9-11 in order to bring us the full story and just not the side the mainstream mediots want you to hear, may be suing military slanderer Michael Moore over the unauthorized use of some of the materials on his website:
The NYT on the Hamdan ruling
I’m buried under as usual today but I wanted to link up to Andy McCarthy’s slam of today’s NYT editorial, which is titled “Guilty as Ordered” (emphasis mine) in reference to the recent guilty ruling in Gitmo’s Hamdan trial.   As expected, the NYT is reflexively anti-Bush, strongly implying that he is a dicator prone to imperial rule. Both McCarthy’s rebuttal, as well as NRO’s response, go a long way towards providing the details the NYT, of course, won’t.Â
