Nominations are now being accepted in the various categories for the 2008 Weblog Awards. I’ve been honored to be a finalist the last three years, and hope to at least make it at least that far this year … and hopefully even beyond that, finally graduating from blog “bridesmaid” to blog “bride” 😀

Throughout the course of the year, NRO Campaign Spot’s Jim Geraghty compiled policy positions from Barack Obama which later “expired” (as he calls it). Make sure to read the entire list, and add it to the long list of evidence about how Barack Obama, contrary to his and his campaign’s assertions, is not particulary “different” than anyone else who favors “change” – a “change” in positions, that is.
Election eve poll watching
Well, the final numbers are rolling in and on a national level, most polls are showing that Obama is ahead beyond the MOE, but state-level polling, the most important to watch, shows a tightening in several battleground states, suggesting tomorrow may not be a runaway for Barack Obama.
