I wanted to blog a bit this morning about the President’s reversal in position on Sen. John McCain’s call for a law banning ‘torture’ to foreign suspects in the war on terror but John Hawkins’ post on the subject pretty much sums up my feelings on this switch in position by the President. John writes:
I’d like to say “thanks” to everyone who voted for me in the Weblogs Awards Best of the Top 251-500 blogs category – I came in 7th out of 15 with 370 votes. The winner of that category was a blog called Sadly No – 2,239 votes, which if I’m not mistaken had a strong lead throughout the voting process. Congrats to Sadly No!
