9 lies in 90 seconds

Representative John Murtha sounded the defeatism horn yet again, this time on this past weekend’s Face the Nation.

Gateway Pundit has a rundown of nine lies Murtha told in 90 seconds (in addition to calling General Peter Pace a liar four times).

I just love it, 0 to 9 lies in 90 seconds! Not to mention, Murtha has his own problems with his military past, re his Purple Hearts, that he put himself in for, for minor wounds. What is it with Democrats and lying and fake medals? A total lack of ethics and honor would be my take on it. Oh well, at least he didn’t pretend to throw them over the White House fence, though that’s a small consolation.

If he were a Republican, the MSM would castrate him for such obvious lies, as it is, he will be held up as a folk hero by the MSM, who will repeat his lies as truth, and ignore the facts.

I really wonder how much better off and farther along we’d be if we had even a remotely fair and balanced MSM in this country. The problems with Iraq would undoubtedly be far far less, as the terrorists wouldn’t be getting daily encouragement and comfort from the news media and politicians in this country.

On a completely unrelated note, I see that Rachel Corrie’s (known as Saint Pancake to most on the right) supporters, are having, get this, a memorial pancake breakfast at Denny’s in her memory!!! Oh the irony!!! I tell ya, you just can’t make this stuff up!!!

Are war hero’s infallible? Would that standard apply to General Peter Pace who Murtha was calling a liar?

Or does the standard only apply to liberal war hero’s?

The issue is the substance of what’s being said (not what people believe people did in their past). You can debate the past all day long but it isn’t relevant to today’s post of distortion, misinformation, and name calling by the Senator of a General and what the General is saying.

In this, jo only has that meme to fall back on. Murtha is a “Cut and Run” democrat. He always has been and always will be.

Libs have no bonafides when it comes to telling the truth. In Iraq, they run their mouths on lies and the MSM is willing to go along because of their agenda to get Bush.

There is no Civil War in Iraq, but the bloodthirsty Liberals need one to be, else they are wrong on Iraq and everything associated with the War on Terror.

I love it when the libs, like jo, whine about “Swift Boating” someone. They will heap no end of abuse on the military, but when they find a military or ex-military member who supports their views, any comments about the person are off limits.

Face it, just because a person served in the military it doesn’t innoculate them from criticism, particularly ex-military who have little or no honor. Kerry and Murtha have checkered pasts, dubious medals, poor judgment, are dishonorable, and in Kerry’s case it’s highly likely he had a less than honorable discharge when he originally got out (it was apparently changed in the Carter years when the DoD, at PeanutHead’s direction, was whitewashing draft dogers and other military malcontents records). Pointing out that the libs favorite military men have no clothes is perfectly acceptable and is the right thing to do when they are lying about their past to gain advantage from it.

Notice that the libs had no problem disparaging and insulting the Swift Boat veterans, while at the same time saying that what Vietnam vets like Kerry said were sacrosanct and no one should say anything against them. Typical liberal hypocrisy.

The left sure picks winners to support doesn’t it?

Adn we know why the democrats are pushing for troop withdrawl. We know why they want out of war on terrorism.

Why you ask?

Because it is an issue they just can’t win on. They are weak on defense and the military. Most the military do not support the views of the democrats.

So what is the answer to trying to get rid of an issue that is front and ceneter in the life of most americans but they can’t win on?

Why to end it. To get out of Iraq, pull out early without finishing the objective..

Even if we listened to the democrats cut and run theories and did it, right after we did, the democrats would turn right around and blame the failure of Iraq when it falls into chaos and gets run over by terrorists on the administration.

You can’t win or even meet democrats halfway without finding a knife in your back as soon as you do.

WOW The last comment by sanity was far from it. It’s our C-IN-C who never stops yapping about the “successes” of the new Iraqi Security forces. And how when those sadists take over we’ll pull out. I’d love to how that’s going to work. My money is that it won’t smooth that’s for damn sure.
