Hear those comments from the mouth of Susan Turnbull, Vice Chair of the DNC, here. He wasn’t killed – he was murdered per her. The word “murder” leaves a distinctly different impression on the listener as would “kill” as it relates to the military – a distinction of which I’m sure Ms. Turnbull is well aware.

She says it in such a blase’ manner that it’s almost a throw-away line. That tells me she may actually believe what she says – not too surprising for a Dem leader. It also tells me that she is putting the Big Lie in play here. Say it enough and it will be believed. And if she says it as if it’s background noise, she expects that most folks won’t notice. Until they think it’s true.
Very clever, these America Haters.
Truly vile.
The clip was so short, we didn’t get to hear what she said after the host challenged her use of the word “murder.” Does anyone know what her response was?
From a lifetime of turning out bull, due to her self fulfilling prophecy it`s not surprising that her name should be Turnbull. Not to mention the what and where that her hatchlings are engaged in. Nepotism has its own rewards.
As a liberal democrat I am sometimes embarrassed by what some of my leaders say. They do say stupid things sometimes. However, I would have liked to have heard the rest of the sound clip. I think it might have been taken out of context.
Either way, the response by most democratic leaders about the killing of Zarqawi was positive. Almost every one of them praised the military and said it was great that he was dead. A 15 second radio clip cannot be used as a broadbrush for all democrats.
I have yet heard any of my democrat friends say “Man, I am sad that Zarqawi is dead.” They are more likely to say, “It’s great, now we might be able to leave after losing 2500 American lives.”
Yeah Kevin, the Democrats respond to anything about Iraq, good or bad, the way a spoiled 5 year old does to a long road trip. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Except it’s: Can we pull out yet? Huh? Huh? Can we pull out yet? Regardless of whether it’s a defeat, or a victory, it’s always the same, can we go yet? whine…
I think her saying the Zarqman was murdered was a classical example of a Freudian slip, she said exactly what she and a lot of democrat/liberals felt, before she could stop and think better of it.
