The question everyone’s asking
With the charges against the three accused Duke lacrosse players dropped, Nifong disbarred, and the three players receiving a settlement from Duke University (Jim Hoft has the statement from the players here) over what they went through, the question on everyone’s mind seems to be:
Now what about those Duke professors? You know, the Gang of 88 Duke faculty members who – within weeks of the accusations against the players – united to publicly express their solidarity with the ‘victim’ while condemning the accused, before waiting for all the facts?
BTW, Nifong’s troubles are just beginning. The three players who were falsely accused of rape will be filing a civil suit against him, and don’t rule out criminal charges being filed, either (hat tip: La Shawn Barber).

I suppose it might be tempting to sue those professors for slander and/or libel, depending upon whether their remarks were spoken or written somewhere…but the settlement from Duke University will probably suffice. It may, in fact, have included a provision covering same for all I know…

I guess where I was going had nothing to do with money changers. As expected the 88 (usual suspects) taught: Sociology, Cultural Anthropology, Romance Studies(?), Women`s Studies, Political Science and Public Planning(?). What surprised me were the number of ENGLISH teachers!
I count myself as one of the aggrieved in that this latest cross section of tards on display. What’s required is more than financial restitution for their deviant behavior as it reflects the baneful mentality rooted in their understandings. It has caused and will continue to cause the same kind of ruination in the future there and nationwide, for both those they attack and worst of all——INSTRUCT!
It’s telling these lib professors have NOT apologized yet, yeah, thats a moonbat for you, can’t even say I’m sorry when you are proved 1000% wrong.
Hope Duke pays with mega non-enrollment.
As a few of you remember, I’ve been the one harping about the professors in this.
I know of at least one professor who flunked students solely bor being members of the lacross team. This is one professor that needs their tenure revoked and to be fired, and that is just to start with. Professors are not Gods. They need to be forcefully reminded of this.
Not only should the 88 be punished, but the students they harmed ought to have their records upgraded to a fair assessment of their schoolwork, not a measure of the professor’s personal political agenda.
Apparently these Duke professors only believe in due process for those they deem deserving. It makes me wonder if the same thing happened over again if they would still do the same thing? They are all disgraceful and cowardly for not coming out, admitting they were wrong, and apologizing. How they let such irresponsible and cowardly people teach young people is beyond me.
