Surprise, surprise. This, on top of the Army’s internal investigation which debunked “Scott Thomas”‘ claims in the first place.

But when pressed for an answer, I’m sure TNR would still claim that they “support the troops.” Uh huh.

Here we have yet another case of the facts not squaring with the preconceived narrative. Shame, shame, shame, TNR.

The conservative blogosophere is all over it, and Michelle Malkin has a very detailed post up examining the Beauchamp/TNR transcripts.

  2. TNR owes a giant apology to it’s readers and members of the u.s. military. Franklin Foer needs to resign at a minimum. There must be some laws on the books against phony journalism for which he can be prosecuted.
