Obama: I didn’t snub Hillary at the SOTU

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on January 29, 2008 at 4:13 pm

After news outlets all over the place were talking about it this morning, the O-man himself addressed the issue earlier today, saying his alleged snub of Her Royal Highness wasn’t a snub at all.

I know it’s protocol to be friendly and/or greet your fellow Congressperson during the SOTU, but frankly I wouldn’t blame Obama for snubbing Hillary, considering some of the stunts she and her hubby have pulled (like trying to disenfranchise voters in NV, and outright lying – not to mention being hypocritical – about Obama’s comments on Reagan).

To be sure, Obama hasn’t been perfect, but when it comes to the business of down and dirty campaigning, this year the Clintons have everyone beat.

I think the media expects Obama to be assassinated, or at least suffer an attempt because it fits their narrative. Racist America. Duke lacrosse, the Jena 6, Tawana Brawley. None of these events really happened, but it doesn’t matter because they should have happened, they needed to happen.

That’s why a manufactured hate crime is precisely the same as an actual one, because the faux victim wouldn’t have been compelled to invent it if not for the sheer crushing weight of racism in America.

For the left, America has to be the worst country on Earth. Otherwise they’d need to either shut up or get exercised about real horrors and tragedies and, dare I say it? Evil. Yes, they’d have to admit that evil exists, and is not personified by George W. Bush.

The last thing a drama queen wants is real drama. It has to be manufactured and under control.

Bravo, Steve! I can’t find anything to add to what you said so well.

Whether it’s true or not doesn’t matter as long as it supports the “greater truth” that leftists are trying to sell. Same with “fake but accurate” memos about Bush, Global Warming BS, etc. The meme remains the same.

Michelle Obama tried to stir this up 4 months ago and it fell flat. This is going to be a reoccurring theme with these people as long as Barak is in the race. – Lorica
