VIDEO: McCain takes on anti-war protestors
In a speech today in Denver where he talked about his plan to reduce the US’ nuclear arsenal, John McCain was confronted by anti-war protestors. Here is how he responded:
No podium surrendering going on here, thank goodness.
In his speech, McCain referenced a quote from President Reagan on nukes:
“A quarter of a century ago, President Ronald Reagan declared, “Our dream is to see the day when nuclear weapons will be banished from the face of the Earth,’ ” Mr. McCain said. “That is my dream, too.” He added: “It is time for the United States to show the kind of leadership the world expects from us, in the tradition of American presidents who worked to reduce the nuclear threat to mankind.”
Here’s a pretty informative piece to read for anyone who, like me, didn’t realize how strongly Reagan opposed nuclear weapons.

Why is it only the Left that seems to think this kind of asinine behavior is acceptable? It reeks of immaturity and intellectual bankruptcy.
I once counseled teenagers. One thing that was clearly evident with them and is consistent with the modern day vociferous clowns who display the same kind of *emotionally frozen in time* mentality, they were in some way abandoned. With the kids I talked to, divorce was the most common meme/theme.
In essence, whatever age the separation occurred, it was consistent with where they stopped growing emotionally. I happen to think that this is a big reason that *feelings* are such a pivotal even divisive point of fate, for those who’ve either failed or faltered in the continuance of emotional growth.
Whether stymied or stopped they can’t seem to resist throwing tantrums of one kind or another because the cheapness of flaunting their inabilities is what worked as young children. Scream loud, get what ya want and appeasement scores another notch.
In other words………true love’s made by lovers. The rest is just a bunch of f***in’ around by an overpopulation of jerkoffs! The Johnny feel goods are w/o a clue how to build a proper model, how to improve their lot.
Why else would the 7th century pedo-prophets have such a hold and why else would so many appeasing apologists line up to ululate the plight of the wingless lemmings?
Someday ……..maybe I’ll tell y’all how I really feel.
