VIDEO: Obama tells community organizer groups that they will help shape presidential policy
The description of the event the remarks were made at reads, “Heartland Democratic Presidential Forum 12/07 – forum for thousands of community organizers including Gamaliel and ACORN people.” Here’s the vid:

I was watching CNN this morning and they were showing clips of an interview they did with ACORN director Bertha Lewis and she blatantly lied by acting like Republicans only just now in the last month were starting to find these problems, implying that the only reason they were doing so was in an attempt to ’scare’ voters. There’s a pretty good write-up at The Politico website that lays waste to Lewis’ argument, as the battles between the GOP and ACORN have gone on for decades.

I’m not sure what’s worse: community organizers shaping public policy or rich corporations. McCain and Obama will not change Washington. Vote third party if you are looking for “real” change.
Leaves, the answer is that corrupt community organizers are worse. Corporations care about profit. The know that if they destroy the economic system they stand to earn nothing. As long as they make money, they care nothing about how you live your life.

organizersagitators, on the other hand, care only about power. They do not care if they destroy the economy, the educational system, the military, or anything else, as long as they have power over what remains. And that includes power over nearly every aspect of your life.If Obama is elected, I’m not sou much worried about ACORN as that he may try and create a giant corps of government funded volunteers to do “community service”
