Two new media studies: Media coverage has been overwhelmingly favorable to Obama
Gee – ya think?
And speaking of a biased media, John McCain will be on SNL tonight. I didn’t find Gov. Palin’s few minutes on SNL a couple of weeks ago to be enjoyable. I hope tonight will be different. Rumor has it that Obama “may” appear on the show via satellite.

Media coverage overwhelmingly favorable to Obama?? What a shocker…
I must admit, I enjoyed seeing Sarah on SNL – after being skewered for weeks by the show and particularly Tina Fey, she demonstrated that she has the guts to walk directly into the lions den and face her detractors head-on. She also got a favorable reaction from the studio audience, and got a few ‘barbs’ of her own in on Baldwin, another of her detractors. Overall, I thought it to be a good move on her part.
I liked Palin’s appearance on SNL (first time in years I’ve watched. It should have gone off in ‘79.). It showed her to be a good sport who could hold her own with a hostile crowd.
Regarding the media, the core problem is a liberal monoculture among reporters and editors in major newsrooms. They’re in such an echo chamber that it’s almost impossible for them to realize they don’t represent the neutral center of American politics. (Bernard Goldberg’s Bias is an excellent book on the topic.)
What the media needs is an “affirmative action” program for conservatives and moderates.
Ha! Honestly, saying that the media coverage has favored Obama is the biggest understatement of the election season! The liberal illuminati own the media and that has been so obvious this year. I think Obama and his millions of campaign dollars probably doesn’t hurt but yea, he has the media advantage in about every way possible.

Ah, well, there you go again, getting all hung up on three-dimensional reality, when we’ve moved way beyond that…The Obamacons — that’s to say, conservatives hot for Barack- – justify their decision to support a big-spending big-government Democrat with the most liberal voting record in the Senate by “hoping” that he doesn’t mean it, by “hoping” that he’ll “change” in office. “I sure hope Obama is more open, centrist, sensible” declared reformed conservative Ken Adelman, “than his liberal record indicates.”
