QOTD: Rep. Wasserman Schultz “pretty happy” about “private sector growth”

Not sure what’s worse here – the fact that she had the audacity to say it in the first place or the fact that she actually believes private sector job growth has been strong under President Obama:

During an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz channeled President Obama’s infamous “the private sector is doing fine” comment, saying she is “happy” with job growth in the private sector:

Fox News’ John Roberts: “So then is the suggestion that we should just do keep doing the same thing? There’s that old definition of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.”

DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “What we should do – well, I’m pretty happy about 28 straight months of job growth in the private sector.”

Roberts: “Are you happy about 80,000 jobs last month, 69,000 the month before that. Are you happy with those numbers?”

Rep. Wasserman Schultz: “Like I’ve said and President Obama has said, we need to continue to improve and we need to do more and we need to work together.”

Here’s video of Wasserman Schultz’s remarks:

Thanks for providing fresh material for the GOP to use in its upcoming round of ads, Ms. DNC Chair.

BTW, here’s what the REAL jobs picture looks like. Don’t expect Wasserman Schultz and her spin doctor cohorts to be candidly tackling those inconvenient truths anytime soon.

Why does DWS always sound like she has a certain male ‘appendage’ shoved down her throat?

With a megabimbo like this in the public eye all those silly “blond” jokes will never die.

  3. Carlos says:

Of course she’s happy with “private sector” growth. She (along with the prez, the veep, the head of the Senate majority, the former Speaker of the House, and numerous others in the Democrat party are more than happy to see the private sector shrink while the bureaucrat numbers swell.

It’s in their DNA, in their blood, and it’s the only thing that can cause synaptic action between both of their collective brain cells…

This woman is such a tool… It is absolutely idiotic the things that gush forth from this fool. This woman is nothing more than a puppet for the regime. How she was ever elected still boggles my mind. – Lorica

  6. Brontefan says:

To lie with regularity is probably a requirement to be the spokes person for the Democratic Party. The POTUS lies with impunity, the rest of them reiterate, and this woman is able to do so without flinching. The bottom line: it’s still a LIE!

  7. Dana says:

It’s actually perfect. There were 80,000 jobs created in June, and 85,000 people left the workforce to get on disability, so you have the net effect of 165,000 jobs on the unemployment number. With Democrat math, you just can’t do better than that.

Quite the shill for the liar in chief isn’t she. Yet another loon in a safe district.
