The New York Times has a story out today about how liberal bloggers are targeting KSFO-AM’s Melanie Morgan, her co-host Lee Rodgers, and other members of their drive time morning show over allegedly ‘hateful’ and ‘violent’ remarks they’ve supposedly made on their radio program. The bloggers have gone so far as to contact some of the show’s advertisers, play cherry-picked clips, and gotten some of the advertisers to pull their ads.
On Friday, I blogged about a Washington Times story that talked about how Rep. Pelosi was showing favoritism to a company in her San Francisco district by not including that company – along with all other American Samoa companies – from the new federal requirement she wants to put in place to raise the minimum wage. The WashTimes reports in a followup story that Pelosi is reversing course:
Steve Kagen, the newly elected Democratic Representative from Wisconsin, who insulted First Lady Laura Bush and bragged of it along with alleged confrontations with VP Cheney and WH advisor Karl Rove (details here) is now being praised by the Huffington Post, where Kagen is now known as a “firebrand.” Lane Hudson at the HuffPo writes:
The Washington Post has a blurb today about a blogger who was fired from his job at a video store because Tucker Carlson felt his family was threatened over something the blogger wrote on his blog about him. The Post left out part of the post (deliberately?) but Patterico has the link and text to what the offending post said, and I have to say I agree with the video store manager who fired the blogger.
