I’ve written about this issue before, but wanted to expand on my thoughts some as I read some comments at a political forum today that suggested that the Bush administration’s supporters were deliberately ‘blaming Democrats’ for how things were going in Iraq and for the erosion in support for the war because they ‘don’t want to put the blame on Republicans. My slightly modified (for clarity) response to one post is reposted below:

His creds are impressive, not that that will stop the usual suspects from attacking them.
On Saturday, I wrote about how the media is already making its case against confrontation with Iran by setting up strawman arguments against the administration and framing the debate based on things the administration has not asserted. As promised (albeit a little late), here are pictures of what the snow looked like here in Charlotte last Thursday. I only got one from my house because my camera batteries died (argh!) and it didn’t come out well but I did get a few good ones at mom and dad’s, which I’ll post below. All in all, I think we got about two inches, and it started melting around noon.
