Site announcement (Weds/Thurs open thread)

FYI, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this week I will be away from the computer. Brian at Liberty Pundit, who has done a great job of guestblogging for me in the past, will take over the controls while I’m away.

Assuming it doesn’t rain on Saturday, I’ll be taking a day trip to the mountains and hope to get some good pix of the fall foliage to share with ya’ll (hope to get some pictures of Linville Falls, too). Wish me luck, as I’ll have my new digital camera with me

Friday may be a light blogging day for Brian – if that ends up being the case, I’ve alerted him that he can start an open thread at some point that day.
