The NYT on the Hamdan ruling

I’m buried under as usual today but I wanted to link up to Andy McCarthy’s slam of today’s NYT editorial, which is titled “Guilty as Ordered” (emphasis mine) in reference to the recent guilty ruling in Gitmo’s Hamdan trial.    As expected, the NYT is reflexively anti-Bush, strongly implying that he is a dicator prone to imperial rule.  Both McCarthy’s rebuttal, as well as NRO’s response, go a long way towards providing the details the NYT, of course, won’t. .....   [Read More]

Is he guilty, or isn’t he?

Last month I blogged about the scandal surrounding former NC Senator, and twice failed candidate for president John Edwards and the alleged “love child” he supposedly fathered with a woman named Rielle Hunter.  At the time there was no photo evidence one way or the other.  Yesterday, the Enquirer released photos they say are of Edwards and the child.  The pix are a little grainy, but it does look like it’s Edwards. .....   [Read More]
