More unhinged "art" from the left coast

I was just scanning the photo section at the Yahoo News site and came across the following picture:

In response to the last eight years of George W. Bush at the helm of our country, San Francisco Sculptor Clark Sorensen has created a solo show of new ceramic sculptures. Sorensen is internationally know for his whimsical flower and shell shaped urinal sculptures but has been inspired to use the urinal to comment on the mess left in the wake of the Bush administration. His new works include a urinal portrait of our leader, another urinal showing the American flag being flushed down the drain, also a urinal featuring the stock market going down the tubes along with other new works. All of Sorensen’s urinals are crafted in high-fire porcelain and are fully functional fixtures intended to be used and enjoyed.

“This series appropriately expresses my take on the lasting legacy of George W. Bush. I feel that so many things are going down the drain as a direct result of the policies made over the last eight years, so the urinal seemed like the perfect metaphor.”

I look forward to the Left Coast’s reaction when Obama ignores them. Better yet I look forward to when most of the country finds out he only said what he needed to say to get elected. I rather have a president who does what he believes is right in his heart and soul rather than worry about ratings. The only thing I’ve seen so far about Obama is the exact opposite.

He’s just another nobody reveling in the freedom of expression ensured him by far better persons than he will ever be. Like the shoe thrower in Iraq, who somehow managed to never assault Saddam and only discovered his right to free expression after it had been paid for in blood – none of it his, of course.

People like Sorenson are ticks on the butt of society. Good thing society has a butt like Godzilla, and Sorenson is an especially small tick, even for a parasitic bloodsucker. So far the freeloaders are not dragging down the real people who go to work every day to create and defend the culture he so cynically and heroically mocks. So everyone who has a real job, be glad that our society is strong enough to carry dead weight like him. And consider that anyone who thinks he’s taking a brave stand by peeing in the simulation of a person is saying much about himself and nothing about the target of his ridicule. Bush is not diminished one whit by this popinjay.
