Blago is doing his best William Jefferson Clinton immitation – when you tell a lie, tell a big one. Play the victim card with abandon. And be sure to appear choked with rage and anger when someone calls you on you.

You really do have to appreciate the complete wackiness of this guy. Living in Illinois, it is so sad, you have a try your best to recognize the entertainment value. Yesterday, I heard him in an interview in addition to his press conference. In the morning, he compared himself to characters in Frank Capra movies, such as Jimmy Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Every time he mentions, “the will of the people”, I throw up a little. He has NO supporters. His wife has been fired from her cushy job. More than likey, he will no longer be the governor by the end of next week (one can hope). It will be entertaining to see if he actually leaves office when he is no longer governor. He may just lock himself in his office and refuse to come out.

Ooooh . . . I love the image of him locking himself in his office. It’d be like one of those publicity stunts djs do sometimes, where they lock themselves in the studio and stay on the air until enough money’s raised for some charity. Of course, in this case the charity would be . . . well, you know.
