The good news and the bad news

Obviously, the good news about the unanimous House Republican opposition to President Obama’s stimulus bill means that the Republicans in the House (all of them) seem to have found their way again. Not only that, but it means that Obama’s claims that this will be a “bipartisan bill” are bogus, at least as far as the House is concerned. The Senate, of course is a different matter. FYI, still no resolution on the comments editor plug-in dilemma. I’ve gotten quite a few emails from people who miss that feature … believe me, I’m missin’ it, too. I’ve even tried installing earlier versions, which work the same but don’t resolve the problem. I’m thinking about trying to install a comment “preview” plug-in different from the one we have here now. Whereas this one let’s you preview it below the screen where you are typing it, the one I am looking at would give you a “preview” button to click in order to view your comment before it’s posted. If the coding doesn’t look too tricky on that one, I’ll try to install it as a short-term fix until a resolution (if any) can be reached on the comment editor plug-in. I contacted the creator of the plug-in but that was several days ago and I’ve received no response. Ah well......   [Read More]
