Panthers at the Cardinals (UPDATE: PANTHERS WIN 34-21)

Panthers logoThe Panthers (2-4) take on the Cards (4-2) in Arizona today in what the Panthers hope to be a rebound game from last week’s disappointing loss to the Bills last weekend at home. Not only that, but the Panthers would enjoy a little revenge for their embarassing playoff loss last season to the Cards.

We won’t be doing any of that unless Delhomme gets it together and remembers what team he’s playing for. I know the team’s got several issues, but the biggest one is Delhomme’s throwing interceptions. He has 13 for the season so far, leading the league. The talk of the town this week has been the future of Jake Delhomme w/ the Panthers, and whether or not he should have one.

Game time is 4:15 PM ET and will be broadcast on Fox.

Update: Wow – what a game. The Panthers looked in playoff form for a change, while Kurt Warner threw several interceptions (6?) and the Cards’ attempt at a late rally failed. Panthers win 34-21.

Delhomme suffered a “chest injury” late in the game. Hopefully it’s not too serious.
