Kruggie: Massive expansion of govt spending? What massive expansion of govt spending?
Er, this column sort of speaks for itself, methinks. Or maybe he’s just saying it’s not massive under his definition of the term …
Kruggie’s either living in an alternative reality, or he really expects his readers to believe that there has been no massive expansion of government spending under the Obama administration. Sadly, many will believe whatever he writes.
What’s the old saying about how if you repeat something often enough people will start to believe it?
And yes – this is the same Paul Krugman who won the Nobel Prize for Economics in 2008, proving yet again what a worthless “honor” the prize really is.
