They hate big business, but when they look for work they can only hope there will be a business out there willing to hire them. They hate the banks but it was the Democrats like Barney Fag who and Chris Dodd who pushed the banks into giving out those loans to folks who could never pay them back.

What we see is what you get when our institutions are run by socialist. Brainwashing at its finest.

No liberal I know wants a dictatorship. What we want is accountability both in government and in corporations – both of which work hard to keep us down while they make a profit. I think even the Tea Party could be in agreement on some of these protests. After all Wall St and the Banks got a bailout [from Bush btw] and now they want more from us.

What you mean is that few of them will admit they want the state to have absolute power over everyone. But a few of your fellow liberals have blurted out the truth in unguarded moments. NYT columnist Thomas Friedman has reflected on how nice it would be to be more like communist China here where they could simply rule by decree. Obama’s Director of OMB writes in the New Republic that we need less democracy and more rule by fiat. And I guess you missed ST’s piece here about how the liberal Democrat governor of NC wishes we could do away with those inconvenient elections.

Face the facts: your liberal friends love power over people more than anything else. Try this simple test: tell me the last time you liberals actually tried to pass any legislation that got the government OUT of trying to dictate to us what we can do, say, or even eat.

Oh, and while you’re at it – if you libs like accountability so much, why aren’t you demanding full disclosure on Fast and Furious or the Solyndra payouts, or questioning why the Obama administration tried to get General Shelton to lie under oath regarding the Lightsquared scandal?

Hell, you might even start by demanding that Obama release the medical records and college transcripts he’s spent millions of dollars to hide. Some accountability.

I figure it will take me about ten years to dismantle most of the mess already in place, add a couple of amendments to keep it from happening again, and then I retire with a big fat pension, a pardon and a gag order. As far as protesting the government’s overreaching power, where do you get that? From what I know (from both having been part of “the movement” and from extensive reading since and paying attention), the assumption of liberals is that they will be part of the power structure when government runs everything, and so they will be OK because everyone that makes decisions will be on the same page. How foolish, childish and arrogant is that?

The nature of man is to abuse power and justify that abuse. Liberals justify it by assuming they know more than the person being controlled, but how can that be when their own lives are such a mess and they don’t have a clue about anything important to themselves, let alone the other person? Then they multiply that by millions!

Give me a break!

What is especially interesting is that they are protesting “something” most cannot articulate–especially Susan Sarandon & Dr. Piven [loved their incoherent messages on camera!]–and then Van Jones screams they are going to TAKE BACK the American Dream. The American Dream is something created by capitalism.. and no Marxist/socialist state can “take it back.” BTW, they can’t compare to the Tea Party; the Tea Party has had hundreds of protests/demonstrations with NO arrests. NY has already had 700 arrests. These liberals don’t really know what they want.

Had a good laugh last night listening to a BBC reporter walking around these Wall Street protesters asking them why they were protesting. None of them could give him a coherent answer. When he tried to press each one of them on the fact that no one there he interviewed could give him an answer to what their purpose was for protesting some of them started getting angry. But more telling was when he started probing them for their background (job, political views, etc). Most of them he interviewed were a various assortment of anarchists, socialists, other “redistribute the wealth” types, and generally people with enough free time and money on their hands to fly to NYC from across the country to spend weeks doing this, ie, rich kids.

I wish I could contact one young girl in particular he interviewed so I could ask if she could redistribute her wealth to me since I’m struggling financially right now. But somehow I feel she might not be willing to let go of her mommy and daddy’s money so easily.

You have to wonder how many of these people have psych degrees, or social sciences degrees. Something that has little to no future. You have to ask yourself if these kids had business, computer science, or accounting degrees, how many of them would be wasting their time.

A few things I noticed in the video.

1st: Whoever said that these people didnt want a dictator is a fool and an idiot. Just a glance at the video showed many communists symbols, the most blatant is the buffoon with the China star on his back holding his arm up in the Hitler / Stalin pose. Communism always ends up in some form of dictatorship where the few hold all the power over the masses.

2nd: These are the same people who rioted in England. The bodies might be different but the spirit is the same. They don’t want to work so they pick degrees that are virtually useless, then wonder why they can’t find a job.

3rd: Anyone else notice the pre-printed signs?? Don’t they look just like the signs that we see in all the Zombietimes.com photos?? If so, then we know who prints those, a front group for the communist party USA.

The larger the Gov the less accountable it will be. Our Founding Fathers knew this, and enshrined it in a document that liberals tend to interpet anyway they choose. Too funny a liberal talking about gov accountability.

If the Constitution of the United States of America were followed word for word then you would not have the Depts of Education, Energy or Welfare or HUD or… Saving countless millions in tax dollars. The Gov would be accountable to “We the People”, but noooo everytime we try to get the Gov back on the constitutional path we find nothing but obstructions from our lib comrades.

What little concensus I can read from this movement thus far demands a minimum living wage of at least $20 per hour for all (regardless of employment status), a single payer health plan that excludes any free market alternative (by law), and free education. All told, it may be that if a $20 per hour living wage were paid to all, a free education given to all and a single payer health plan in place would leave about 25% of that living wage left to live upon. If cat food stays below $1 per ounce, that should work.
