The scariest part of all this is that these “people” can’t fathom why we don’t have an ounce of trust in our governments, all levels, because they’re all run by Gestapo-type people like them!

They also do not realize the constitutional liberties that allow them to spout their nonsense and vitriol are the very same liberties that allow blogs like this one (and the others mentioned) to exist.

Admittedly, I did not expect my tweet, written to thank those whose work I genuinely enjoy reading, to incite the “candidate recruiters.”

On the other hand, I was pleased to see that @MovingNCForwarded admitted that people in NC value my opinion. That is more than I can say for them.

Here ya go. There are two different ways of spelling “political whores” found in the dictionary: 1) “Democrat”
2) “Lindsay Graham”
