Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer, not the biggest Sarah Palin fan in the world, rips the blood libelers a new one – especially Paul Krugman and the NYT – for blaming Saturday’s shooting massacre on Sarah Palin and the Tea Party (via @Stage_Right):
In an 8 minute video, Sarah Palin has responded aggressively to the slanderous charge that she and other prominent conservatives are to blame for Saturday’s tragedy in Tucson:
Glad to know that the 24-7 hyperventilating, sensationalizing, and demagoguing by MSM outlets and talking point-led Democrats aren’t persuading the American people in the aftermath of the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ8), the murder of 6 others, and injury of 11 others that happened in Tucson, AZ this past Saturday. Via CBS News (hat tip):
As I noted yesterday in response to the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ8), the mainstream media has been nothing short of shameless in its attempts to try and insinuate – or outright declare – that it was “the right” who targeted her for murder. Josh Trevino wrote yesterday numerous times on Twitter (here’s one instance) about how Politico had joined in on the “blame right wing vitriol” bandwagon. Today, they continue to add to it with their latest extremely irresponsible hit piece. The headline: Gabrielle Giffords’s ‘green’ question riled right. The “story”:
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last 24 hours, you know about the horrific execution-style shootings that happened yesterday at a Safeway in Tucson, AZ where three-term Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ8) was holding her first “Congress on Your Corner” meeting with her constituents. She tweeted about it just minutes before being shot point blank in the temple at close range.
