Washington state Senate passes resolution honoring Pappy Boyington
Back on the Feb. 14th I blogged about the University of Washington’s student senate voting to reject a campus memorial in honor of UW alumnus and Congressional Medal of Honor recipient Gregory “Pappy” Boyington. According to some who voted against the memorial, Colonel Boyington was not good enough to honor with a memorial.

Writing in today’s Washington Post, the former president calls makes a plea for the US and Israel to not “punish” the Palestinians as a result of the recent elections there where the terrorist group Hamas won a majority of Parliament seats. Furthermore, he seems to still want to believe that Hamas is interested in a peaceful coexistence with Israel (emphasis added):
