Reckless abandonment
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post asking readers of this blog what they would do if Senator John McCain ended up being the nominee for the party in the presidential race. The responses in the comments section were both passionate and divided. John McCain brings that out in conservatives, because so many conservatives despise McCain, while a not-so-insignificant amount of conservatives like the Arizona Senator.

The “Hillary Papers”
Last week, Judicial Watch released internal documents related to then-First Lady Hillary Clinton’s Health Care Task Force. The media, of course, has been virtually silent on them, but Captain Ed has taken a look and found some disturbing things within, including ways the members of the task force (including Senator Jay Rockefeller) suggested attacking critics of Hillary’s universal healthcare proposal, including the following: “The DNC can be instrumental for us in intelligence gathering and opposition research.”
