I’m feeling a little tired and uninspired tonight, and somewhat in the dumps about the future of the GOP presidential race. So I’m putting the Presidency in your hands … in a pretend sort of way. 🙂
It’s been speculated about for months, and the Bloomberg news outlet put a more official stamp on the rumors last week. Today in a presser, Democrat National Convention Committee officials confirmed that President Obama will indeed make  his acceptance speech not at Time Warner Cable Arena as originally scheduled but at the much bigger Bank of America Stadium instead:
You can always tell when an election year rolls around. Democrats who are normally at DEFCON 2 on the Hatemeter scale kick it up a notch to DEFCON 1, and they aren’t above using someone’s death or serious injury (or sickness) in the process .
Bloomberg News reports an intriguing bit of info on the possibility that the Democrat National Convention Committee may be moving the site of Obama’s 2012 nomination acceptance speech to Bank of America stadium – because they desperately need cash from wealthy donors to pay for convention costs:
