The final Barrett report

Even though there are many missing pages, it’s pretty clear what happened and that is that the Clinton administration abused its power by doing whatever they wanted to in order to help former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros coverup his, ahem, tax problems.
Clinton administration coverup?
The NYTimes reports today that prosecutor David M. Barrett, the independent counsel in the investigation into possible Clinton-era coverups involving the IRS, has issued a “scathing report accusing Clinton administration officials of thwarting an inquiry into whether Mr. Cisneros [former HUD Secretary] evaded paying income taxes.” Here’s more:

The Barrett Report is scheduled for release this coming Thursday. In it are supposed to be details of Clinton-era abuses of power involving former HUD Secretary Henry Cisneros, the Justice Dept. and the IRS.
