I hate that conservatives are so divided right now. We work much better when we all work together, don’t we? The ‘big split’ has only been going on for about two weeks now, but already I’m missing the days when we stood together.
Neutral on the Miers nomination
Not that I needed to announce it, as I think it’s been pretty obvious by my writings here at the blog, but I am officially neutral on the Miers nomination. I’m announcing it because I want to explain why, and also argue against some of the arguments that have been used against her (if that makes sense!).

Mellowing out
With all the contentiousness surrounding the nomination of Harriet Miers to the Supreme Court, I’m feeling the need to mellow out a bit tonight – so I’m listening to Sting’s Ten Summoner’s Tales and getting ready to start reading a non-political book. Haven’t picked out which one … but I need to get away from politics for a few minutes at least 😉
