The UN ceasefire deal on Israel and Hezbollah
Lots of discussion about the UN ceasefire deal (read Kofi Annan’s ‘give peace a chance’ speech here) going on in the blogosphere. Olmert has signaled that he’s ok with it, and the AP is reporting today that Nasrallah has said Hezbollah will as well.
American Muslims “concerned” with Bush’s use of the term “Islamic fascists”
Seems the President’s characterization of Islamic terrorists as “Islamic fascists” has riled up US Muslims who are “concerned” that such a term could inflame sentiment against Islamists. Via Reuters:

Malkin’s all over this developing story, and YNet News has details and photos, and points to another possible photo manipulation, this time by using two different photos of what appears to be the same timeframe in Beirut and describing them both as being from different timeframes and thus supposedly two ‘different’ Israeli attacks.
