It has not been a good day so far for the Panthers, as they are down 17-0 at halftime. Delhomme is out with an elbow injury he suffered in the 3rd quarter of last week’s game against the Falcons.

Gametime is 4:15, but I wanted to go ahead and blog about it as I’m getting ready to go out and grab a quick lunch and run some errands and I’m not sure I’ll be back in time for when it starts.

Today is the first official day of autumn, but you couldn’t tell it by the temperatures here in Charlotte, which currently register 87 degrees – and they are forecasting a high of 96.

Shame on me for not starting a post last Sunday on the Panthers first game, which they played in St. Louis, where they defeated the Rams 27-13, breaking a three-year streak of losing their opening game (home or away). I will make up for it in the coming weeks by creating a post each Sunday for Panthers games, and for others to discuss how their team is doing 🙂
