Super Bowl Sunday Open Thread
Ok ya’ll – who is going to win this one? I’ve not read any of the sports talking head reports, but I suspect most bets are on the Steelers winning it all. Even if they do, you have to hand it to the Cards. Did anyone at all predict that the Cards would even come close to making it to the Super Bowl this year? What a dream come true for them.
Friday/Weekend open thread
Hey ya’ll. Sorry I’ve been AWOL this afternoon. I’ve been busy sharpening my debating skills at a political forum I post at. In fact, I’d like to invite any of you who are fans of political message boards to visit it as well. It’s called The Bully Pulpit. It’s not like a DU or any goofy place like that. Some pretty serious debates happen there, but that’s not to say that some people over there can’t get goofy sometimes. In fact, that happens frequently 😉 The moderators at the forum are fair and let the conversation flow but don’t tolerate personal attacks coming from either side (public figures are fair game – members are not), nor trolling, nor spamming.

I just got a link to the below video in email. It’s from something called the “NFL Fantasy Files” and it is cool as all get out! It shows NFL players doing football tricks that we mere mortals can’t (and in some cases, wouldn’t want to) do. These guys are truly amazing – but the best one is at the end:
