Ed Morrissey details yet another example of Barack Obama’s duplicity on the issue of “abuse of power.” This time it’s over the issue of Obama’s forceful removal of the AmeriCorps Inspector General … over an investigation into a Obama supporter and Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson “into the misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group that Johnson headed.”
No surprise here, eh? That must explain why he’s still getting good marks on the economy, even if his approval numbers on spending and the deficit are below 50% now.

And here I thought that since the era of “cowboy diplomacy” was over, Obama and Co. were going to razzle dazzle European leaders and “heal” strained relationships. That’s what he, his supporters, and the mainstream media were bragging about last year. Apparently (and unsurprisingly), they were wrong:
