Post-Super Bowl quote of the day – and sheer nuttiness at the NYTimes

… by Colts Coach Tony Dungy. What a game!
In addition to a win over the Saints today, we needed a Giants loss yesterday and a Packers loss tonight against Chicago to make it into the playoffs. Well, today’s game is now meaningless for the Panthers as the Giants beat Washington yesterday.
Delhomme may not start today in the Panthers’ 1 p.m. home game against the Steelers. The Steelers have won 4 of their last 5, while the Panthers have lost 3 straight (including last week’s humilating loss to NC Cop’s Giants). So Pittsburgh has momentum on their side while the Panthers have desperation and a hunger to win on theirs.
Worse than losing to a 3-7 team while desperately trying to hold on to the top slot in your division by the skin of your teeth is losing against a QB who was making his first start in the NFL.
