Dan Riehl blogs today about a Vermont grandmother by the name of Rosemarie Jackowski whom the AP has dubbed as an “unlikely peace activist.” Only thing is, once you read Dan’s post, you’ll realize that it’s not as “unlikely” for her to be a peace activist as the AP (predictably) makes her about to be.
… and with the end of the year come the best and worst lists, and this year is no exception.
It’s still faltering, and it sounds like there’s a bunch of infighting going on. Also, Al Franken is owed $367,000 by AAR – which filed bankruptcy earlier this year – is on a USO tour, and when he returns he may run for Senate. The NYT has the story here, but as Michelle Malkin notes, Brian Maloney at the Radio Equalizer was ahead of the NYT on this news.
