Christmas Eve Eve Eve Open Thread
Still buried under trying to get a thousand and one things done before Christmas, as I suspect many of you are. Christmas cards? Done. Christmas shopping? Done. Christmas wrapping? Done. Photo CDs of family pix taken throughout the year? In progress. Trying to complete enough primary job work so I don’t have to work more than a few hours from home next week? In progress – big time.
Yes, I am deliberately not talking about the Congressional payroll tax cut stand-off
… because I find it too danged depressing for words, especially the demagoguing coming from The Usual Suspects (Obama, Democrats, and their supporting castmates in the mainstream media) and the possible “cave” that may be in the works for House Republicans on this issue. Plus, I have had a craptastic day in general, and talking about this would only send me into a nasty tailspin.
Just because the news can be so depressing…
