First, Barack Obama absurdly claimed in a New Hampshire debate earlier this month that the reason we are seeing much less violence in Iraq is because Iraqis were spurred into action after Democrat threats post-election 2006 to pull troops out of Iraq.
The Democratic party’s desire to go ahead and crown Obama as their next Great Leader continues as the war on criticizing his record rages on. Via Mike Allen at The Politico:
Pressies and pundits alike are declaring that Hillary “fought back” last night, and some are outright saying she “won” the debate. I have to say that from what I saw of it (in the replay late last night) she proved that the phoney charm Bill Clinton used to win over voters rubbed off a little on her, too. Not only that, but she demonstrated that she’s got the Clinton penchant for lying down pat (well, ok, I know that goes without saying – but last night, she made it into an art form), too, especially when she commented that she hadn’t been playing the gender card after her poor debate performance last time.
The discussions over Hillary Clinton’s use of the victim card after her poor performance at last week’s Democratic presidential candidate debate haven’t died down. In fact, they seem to be intensifying.
Last night, I blogged about Team Hillary and her supporters phonily playing the victim card by portraying her as a poor lil’ defenseless woman being “ganged up on” by six men (well, actually it was only five, if you count John Edwards).
Hmmmm. With this in mind, any chance these two will end up looking more silly than they normally do to the point where they will become completely irrelevant in the race for the presidential nominations for their respective parties?
