Kerry “thinking hard” about another run for prez

And he makes the statement while at UN. Heh. Via Reuters:

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said on Thursday he was seriously thinking about another White House bid in 2008 and will decide before the year is out.

“I will make that decision toward the end of the year, but I’m thinking about it hard,” Kerry said in response to a question at the Latin Economic Forum at the United Nations.

“If you can get help me find 60,000 votes in Ohio …,” he joked, referring to the close race in that state on which his 2004 loss to President Bush hinged.

Oh please, please run for president again, Senator Kerry. If the Democratic constituency is politically naive enough to elect you as their nominee again, you’ll face the same outcome in November ‘08 as you did in ‘04.

Kerry’s “thinking hard” eh? Careful, he might hurt himself. Or is he thinking of running for President again after he decided not to run…=))

Hey, kept man, how’s about signing that release form for your service records? You know, the same one Bush signed years ago…

  2. PCD says:

If the crazies at DU think Kerry was “Swift Boated” before, this time around will really get them. Kerry is a lying loser. ALL his lies will be told this time and Kerry will be held accountable.

  3. sanity says:

    *chuckle*
Did he ever release all his records like he said he would?

HE would do worse this time anyways, because now it isn’t “anyone but Bush” vote he will get. Bush is not running again, so those that did not like Kerry, but didn’t want to vote for Bush, will have other choices.

If you take into account the voters that didn’t like Kerry, but hated Bush – Taking Bush out of the equation will make Kerry lose quite a bit of votes he thought he had before.

So far I have yet to see any real credible candidates for president as of yet from either party.

  4. PCD says:

sanity, Kerry has not signed and filed a form 180 to completely release ALL his records. He did sign, but never submitted a partial 180. He did release some records Kerry sanitized.

Bottom line he lied to Tim Russert and to the American public. I wonder what Russert’s reasons are not to call Kerry on it other than Russert being a Lib Democrat.

  5. - LurchKerrys not going anywhere. That form 180 is hanging over his head like the sword of Damocles. That he would even consider it after single handedly dooming his party to a National defeat gives you some idea of what a menace this nucklehead would be in any high office. As a lame duck Senator the damage he can do is limited. Its something like Nixon. He seems to be obsessively determined to keep messing around until his dishonorable discharge, and the fact that he altered his own records and had to depend on Jhimmy to get a pardon to even be able to run for office, becomes an uncontested part of the public record.

    - Yes, the swifties would be waiting for him, and this time they wouldn’t hold back anything. I don’t think even the Dimbulbs are dumb enough to give it a second thought.

    - Bang **==

  6. - Actually PCD I have to give Russert credit. The asshats believe it was that interview where Tim backed Kerry into a corner and insisted he answer the form 180 question, and when he was obviously lying and evading it was the kiss of death for his campaign. A lot of the Dumbulbs have never forgiven Russert for that. He is a Dem, but he tends to be as fair and balanced as any Liberal announcer on TV. So in this case I have to give the devil his due.

  7. Bachbone says:

If he does run, I sincerely hope the Swifties update their book with an addendum telling how some of their members have been hassled and their lives made miserable or financially ruined by Kerry and his supporters. They could title it, Still Unfit for Command.

  8. sanity says:

Still Unfit for Command and that Secret Service Bastard tripped me!

  9. G-Monster says:

I believe the swiftboat vets. I think it’s terrible that these vets have been attacked by the liberal media. The funny thing is, in a video I saw on Kerry, when he was protesting in Washington D.C., Ted Kennedy comes out and meets with Kerry(April 1971). Ted makes the statement that this was the first time he met this young man. I find this hard to believe as there are photos of Kerry and JFK from 1962, when Kerry was trying to date Onassis sister. Photos at below link.

  10. sanity says:

G-Monster, in Teddy Defense he probably didn’t remember, he was probably drinking heavily during those days….

  11. Jim M says:

sKerry did release his collage records and what is funny is when he said during the election “I can’t believe I’m being beaten by that dumb ass (meaning Bush) and sKerry’s grades were lower than Bush’s.
    :d

  12. Severian says:

“G-Monster, in Teddy Defense he probably didn’t remember, he was probably drinking heavily during those days….”

    Not just in “those days.”

  13. CZ says:

Will Swifty decide to run after he decides against it? I can’t wait.

The next democRAT primaries will be the greatest show on earth. :o)

But remember, there’s a sucker born every minute!l-)

  14. Dave in CO says:

It would be worth the price of admission just to see he and Hildebeast rip each other to shreds. Then someone like Evan Bayh steps up and gives us an actual choice for a change.

  15. forest hunter says:

How appropo that his “thinking hard” comment should be made at such an irrelevant conglomerate as the UN has devolved into.

  16. Robert says:

Kerry’s an idiot who couldn’t even explain to America that there were 2 separate bills for funding the Iraq war to the tune of $187 Billion. (His idiotic, “I was for it, before I was against it” line).

Hw was wrongly painted as a flip-flopper by his foes, who also were not going to vote for both bills, while looking like an inarticulate moron.

The irony, of course, is that he lost the election to an inarticulate moron.

  17. G Monster says:

Kerry is a rich idiot. But him and Ted Kennedy are looking out for the little guy. Does anybody buy this?

  18. steve says:

Gore/Kerry-2008 or Gore/Dean or Gore/Edwards or Gore/Murtha or Gore/Feingold or anybody but a Republican. Peace

  19. sanity says:

    =))

Gore/Kerry-2008 = Anger Displaced or Angry White Boy and his side-kick, Old Confused guy.

Gore/Dean = Anger and more Anger or 2 Angry White Boys.

Gore/Edwards = Anger that Sues you or Angry White Guy and the Pretty Boy.

Gore/Murtha = Anger Retreat or Angry White Guy and Droopy? (had trouble placing Murtha)

Gore/Feingold = Anger Impeachment or Angry White and the Black Sheep of the Democrat Party.

    :-"

    ;)

    It was in fun, smile.

    [-(

    No?

    How about this then?

    ;))

  20. Jim M says:

How about Clinton/Dean they can both scream.
    =))

Hey Steve(fn) how about anybody but a socialist guess that would leave out Dimwitocrats.
    :d

  21. - Al “Is we teaching our kids in school – Of course we is” Gore would be the dream candidate for the Dimbulbs. I’m loving it. If somehow 95% of the electorate fell asleep and he managed to get elected, Congress could impeach him for consorting with the enemy even before he got inaugurated. To Funny.

    - On another front. Looks like your nest of Liberal moles infesting the CIA are starting to slither to the surface Steve-dolt. I’m going to thouroughly enjoy watching each and everyone of them walk the plank, along with the demise of all the “AnyGate” scams of the scheming Democrats.

    - You know someone should educate the Dimbulbs in this area. Leaking National defense information is not just a good political dirty trick. Its a high crime and felony that gets people serious jail time. But hey, whats a few peoples lives compaired to the fact that the Dems are out of power. What morons.

    - I won’t bother even mentioning that it hurts the country. If the Liberals gave a damn about their country in any way they wouldn’t do it in the first place, so its a waste of time to talk to them about ethics. I can certainly see how you’d be proud of the things they do Steve-oh.

  22. Severian says:

    Meanwhile, back at the ranch…

    LINK

“The top Democrat on the House ethics committee, Alan Mollohan, will leave the panel _ at least temporarily _ while he defends his own financial conduct, Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi said Friday…. The Wall Street Journal reported two weeks ago that Mollohan steered millions of dollars to nonprofit groups in his district _ with much of the money going to organizations run by people who contribute to the lawmaker’s campaigns.”

What was that about the Republican culture of corruption again?

    :d

  23. forest hunter says:

    Who’s Gore?:o

  24. HadaAbeche says:

    Who’s Gore?:o

He used to be our next President..! :d

  25. sanity says:

AL Gore, you know, that angry man that get paid by foriegn countries to go to foriegn countries and bad mouth America…

  26. G-Monster says:

Severian…your post is too funny…the fox watching the hen house i guess…or the mouse watching the cheese…ethics committee leader has to leave his post to defend his ethics…lol

  27. TomR says:

Yes, Kerry running for Prez and Dean running the DNC. Self destruction on a grand scale. Even the inept, waffles calling themselves Republicans should be able to slow waltz to a victory.

  28. sanity says:

    Screaming Waffles….

    :-?

  29. Steve Skubinna says:

It’s telling that Kerry muses on another Presidential run while at the UN. Not that he didn’t already have the Euro-weenie vote in the bag, but you’d think he’d be talking to, oh I dunno, actual American voters or somebody like that.

On the other hand, perhaps like most Democrat pols today he’s given up on American voters as too stupid to appreciate nuance.

  30. Kerry Press release…AP wire service, 4/16/06…. “Senator J. Kerry (D. Mass) released a press comment today through his secretary in which he states “I was thinking about another run for the Presidency… but that was before I wasn’t…I’ll have to check with Ter-ray-zaaa and get back to you”. Reporters say they spotted Kerry, wearing his favorite “magic hat”, as he was using his celeb to jump a line at the checkout counter of a Waltham WalMart….. in other news…..

Hey stevie. You must really hate America to put any of those combos up for serious consideration. Your a freakin’ idiot, but you get the best weed.
