Alec Baldwin: “Catholic 50s gym teacher” flight attendant singled me out or something

First, the back story:

(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES – American Airlines took to its Facebook page Wednesday to explain its actions after Alec Baldwin complained he was kicked off a flight for playing a Scrabble-like game on his cell phone as the plane was about to depart from Los Angeles.

Without mentioning the “30 Rock” star by name, the airline said an “extremely vocal customer” declined to turn off his phone when asked to do so by a flight attendant.

The customer then stood up “with the seat belt light still on for departure” and took his phone into the plane’s lavatory, the company continued.

“He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked,” the airline’s post said.

The passenger was extremely rude to the crew, calling them inappropriate names and using offensive language,” it continued. “Given the facts above, the passenger was removed from the flight and denied boarding.”

On Twitter, American Airlines said its flight attendants followed federal safety regulations regarding electronic devices.

Baldwin wrote on Twitter Tuesday that he was “reamed” by a flight attendant for playing the game “Words with Friends” while the plane sat at a gate at Los Angeles International Airport.

His spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, added, “He loves ‘Words with Friends’ so much that he was willing to leave a plane for it.”

The actor boarded another American Airlines flight to New York after Tuesday’s incident, but tweeted that he wouldn’t fly with the airline again, despite the fact that they show “30 Rock” for in-flight entertainment.

He also took a jab at the airline’s flight attendants, tweeting, “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950’s find jobs as flight attendants.”

The actor has since deactivated his Twitter account.

Well, not exactly. It’s under a new name: @deactivated001.   It’s currently listed as “suspended” – but like most egomaniacs who crave attention and mindless devotion, he’ll be back.

Oh, here’s more of Baldwin’s “apology”:

First off, I would like to apologize to the other passengers onboard the American Airlines flight that I was thrown off of yesterday. It was never my intention to inconvenience anyone with my “issue” with a certain flight attendant.

I suppose a part of my frustration lay with the fact that I had flown American for over 20 years and was brand loyal, in the extreme. The ticketing agents and Admiral’s Club staff have always been nothing but abundantly helpful to me, as I have flown hundreds of thousands of miles with the one carrier.

My confusion began when the flight, already a half hour behind schedule, boarded, the door closed, and we proceeded to sit at the gate for another fifteen minutes. I then did what I have nearly always done and that was to pull out my phone to complete any other messaging [NOTE from ST: This is a lie, as per Baldwin’s tweets from last night.  He was playing “Words With Friends” on his cell phone.] I had to do before take off. In nearly all other instances, the flight attendants seemed to be unbothered by and said nothing about such activity, by me or anyone else, until we actually were pulling away from the gate.

In this case, while other people were still manipulating their own phones, this one employee singled me out to put my phone away. Afterward, we still sat at the gate. I pulled out my phone again, while others did the same. Again, I was singled out by this woman in the most unpleasant of tones. I guess the fact that this woman, who had decided to make some example of me, while everyone else was left undisturbed, did get the better of me.

However, I have learned a valuable lesson. Airlines in the US are struggling with fuel costs, labor costs, bankruptcies, you name it. It’s no secret that the level of service on US carriers has deteriorated to a point that would make Howard Hughes red-faced. Filthy planes, barely edible meals, cuts in jet service to less-traveled locations. One of the big changes, in my time, is in the increase of the post-9/11, paramilitary bearing of much of the air travel business. September 11th was a horrific day in the airline industry, yet in the wake of that event, I believe carriers and airports have used that as an excuse to make the air travel experience as inelegant as possible.

Most of the flight attendants I have ever encountered still have some remnant of the old idea of service. Add to that the notion that in this day and age, many people have a lot of important work to do, by phone, and would like to do so till the last possible minute. But there are many now who walk the aisles of an airplane with a whistle around their neck and a clipboard in their hands and they have made flying a Greyhound bus experience.

The lesson I’ve learned is to keep my phone off when the 1950’s gym teacher is on duty. That was my fault there, even though this trip was quite a bit different from so many others. But it is sad, I think, that you’ve got to fly overseas today in order to bring back what has been thrown overboard by US carriers in terms of common sense, style, and service.

Again, my apology to my fellow travelers.

What an arrogant, pathetic, self-serving, irresponsible jerk.  “Oh please, please feel sorry for me and look at me!” he’s screaming with that “apology.” Then again, what do you expect from a pseudo-intellectual nitwit who, among other things, has had “patriotic” fantasies about murdering Dick Cheney and who thinks nothing of cursing out his young daughter and calling her a “rude, thoughtless little pig“?

The term “anger management issues” was invented for raging punk-a** creeps like Alec Baldwin.  l-)

Moral Bankruptcy Uninterrupted: Hollywood’s child sex abuse problem

Of course, we know Hollywood as an industry has been morally bankrupt going back decades, helping foster – among other things – a dangerous culture of carefree casual sex, the appalling attitude that marital infidelity is sometimes a “necessary evil”, all the while making the sexualization of children “the norm”, but Fox News’ Meaghan Murphy puts an exclamation point on that moral bankruptcy via a stunning report on just how bad the child sex abuse problem is in Hollywood:

If a spate of recent allegations proves true, Hollywood may have a hideous epidemic on its hands. The past two weeks have brought three separate reports of alleged child sexual abuse in the entertainment industry.

Martin Weiss, a 47-year-old Hollywood manager who represented child actors, was charged in Los Angeles on Dec. 1 with sexually abusing a former client. His accuser, who was under 12 years old during the time of the alleged abuse, reported to authorities that Weiss told him “what they were doing was common practice in the entertainment industry.” Weiss has pleaded not guilty.

On Nov. 21, Fernando Rivas, 59, an award-winning composer for “Sesame Street,” was arraigned on charges of coercing a child “to engage in sexually explicit conduct” in South Carolina. The Juilliard-trained composer was also charged with production and distribution of child pornography.

Registered sex offender Jason James Murphy, 35, worked as a casting agent in Hollywood for years before his past kidnapping and sexual abuse of a boy was revealed by the Los Angeles Times on Nov. 17. Murphy’s credits include placing young actors in kid-friendly fare like “Bad News Bears,” “The School of Rock,” “Cheaper by the Dozen 2” and the forthcoming “Three Stooges.”

“This has been going on for a very long time,” concurs former “Little House on the Prairie” star Alison Arngrim. “It was the gossip back in the ‘80s. People said, ‘Oh yeah, the Coreys, everyone’s had them.’ People talked about it like it was not a big deal.”

Arngrim, 49, was referring to Feldman and his co-star in “The Lost Boys,” Corey Haim, who died in March 2010 after years of drug abuse.

“I literally heard that they were ‘passed around,’” Arngrim said. “The word was that they were given drugs and being used for sex. It was awful – these were kids, they weren’t 18 yet. There were all sorts of stories about everyone from their, quote, ‘set guardians’ on down that these two had been sexually abused and were totally being corrupted in every possible way.”

In fact it is the very nature of a TV or movie set that invites predators, experts tell Fox News.
“A set in Hollywood with children can become a place that attracts pedophiles because the children there may be vulnerable and less tended to,” explains Beverly Hills-based psychotherapist Dr. Jenn Berman. “One thing we know about actors, psychologically speaking, is that they’re people who like a lot of attention. Kids naturally like a lot of attention, and when you put a kid on a set who is unsupervised and getting attention from someone who is powerful, it creates a vulnerability for a very dangerous situation.”

Arngrim, a board member and the national spokeswoman for, an organization that works to protect children from physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, says greed in Hollywood allows sexual predators to flourish. “Nobody wants to stop the gravy train,” says Arngrim. “If a child actor is being sexually abused by someone on the show, is the family, agents or managers – the people who are getting money out of this – going to say, ‘OK, let’s press charges’? No, because it’s going to bring the whole show to a grinding halt, and stop all the checks. So, the pressure is there is not to say anything.”
“It’s almost a willing sacrifice that many parents are oblivious to – what kind of environment do they think that they’re pushing their kid into?” said Peterson. “The casting couch is a real thing, and sometimes just getting an appointment makes people do desperate things.”

Arngrim, who revealed her own sexual abuse in her 2010 autobiography, “Confessions of a Prairie Bitch,” explains: “I’ve heard from victims from all over the country. Everyone tells the same kind of story, everyone is told to keep it secret, everyone is threatened with something. Corey Feldman may have opened a can of worms by speaking out, but yes, this does go on.”

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone reading this, especially those who paid close attention to the absurd excuses that were made by Hollywood elites about child-rapist Roman Polanski just a couple of years ago after he was arrested in Europe after being on the run from US authorities since 1978, the most infamous coming to mind being Whoopi Goldberg’s suggestion that what Polanski did to a vulnerable 13 year-old girl in 1977 was “not rape-rape.” As noted at the time by Kate Harding at, the facts did not fit the narratives of the Whoopi Goldbergs of the world (SEXUAL CONTENT WARNING):

Roman Polanski raped a child. Let’s just start right there, because that’s the detail that tends to get neglected when we start discussing whether it was fair for the bail-jumping director to be arrested at age 76, after 32 years in “exile” (which in this case means owning multiple homes in Europe, continuing to work as a director, marrying and fathering two children, even winning an Oscar, but never — poor baby — being able to return to the U.S.). Let’s keep in mind that Roman Polanski gave a 13-year-old girl a Quaalude and champagne, then raped her, before we start discussing whether the victim looked older than her 13 years, or that she now says she’d rather not see him prosecuted because she can’t stand the media attention. Before we discuss how awesome his movies are or what the now-deceased judge did wrong at his trial, let’s take a moment to recall that according to the victim’s grand jury testimony, Roman Polanski instructed her to get into a jacuzzi naked, refused to take her home when she begged to go, began kissing her even though she said no and asked him to stop; performed cunnilingus on her as she said no and asked him to stop; put his penis in her vagina as she said no and asked him to stop; asked if he could penetrate her anally, to which she replied, “No,” then went ahead and did it anyway, until he had an orgasm.

Mark Steyn wrote a scathing piece at the time on the pathetic excuse-making going on by Polanski’s Hollywood defenders, and Steyn’s words ring just as true today as they did then:

One sympathizes [with Polanski’s personal family tragedies, including his mother, who was killed during the Holocaust]. Except that there are millions of children of the Holocaust struggling under the burdens of the past – and only one who deals with them as Roman Polanski does. Working on the film “Chinatown,” the writer Robert Towne found it hard to concentrate at the director’s pad, what with “the teenyboppers that Roman would run out and take Polaroid pictures of diving off the f***ing diving board without tops on. Which was distracting. With braces.”

Braces. Cute. Harvey Weinstein, the man behind the pro-Polanski petition, rejects the idea that Hollywood is “amoral”: “Hollywood has the best moral compass, because it has compassion,” he told an interviewer.

Let us agree that Hollywood bigshots have “compassion” for people in general, for people far away in a big crowd scene on the distant horizon, for people in a we-are-the-world-we-are-the-children sense. But Hollywood bigshots treat people in particular, little people, individuals, like garbage. To Polanski, he was the world, you are the children; now take your kit off and let’s have a “photo shoot.”

Unfortunately, the fascination with adult/child “relationships” doesn’t just happen behind closed doors and on casting couches. As Big Hollywood’s John Nolte noted around the same time the Polanski apologists were revving their engines, the push to normalize this abhorrent behavior on the big screen had already been well-underway:

Yes, in just one year [2008], Hollywood released three films [Doubt / Towelhead / The Reader] that in one way or another portrayed sex with children as potentially healthy or their molester as sympathetic. And these aren’t fringe, indie films either. All three involve name stars and Oscar winners.

Unfortunately, this is not a conspiracy. Hollywood deviants never gathered together to plan for a slate of films aimed at a drip-drip campaign designed to dull our moral outrage towards the most heinous crime imaginable. It’s worse than that. We’re up against a culture; the same culture that can’t quite grasp why a child rapist should have to serve prison time for a crime he’s confessed to.

And this is how cinematic propaganda works. Whether the filmmaker’s motivations are good or evil, the idea is to get decent and thoughtful people to start second guessing themselves as they’re enveloped in the dark and held captive by the powerful sound and fury of the moving picture. First we’re led to identify and sympathize with a particular character, then that character does something designed to challenge our belief structure. This can range from, “If John Wayne opposes racism, maybe I should,” to, “Well, if a loving mother is okay with it, maybe I need to get a little more nuanced and tolerant about this whole child-rape thing.”

On its face, that may sound laughable, and maybe it is, but that doesn’t mean our eyes are lying to us. Last year merely topped off a campaign targeted at our children that began some time ago.

I remember 1999’s much-heralded American Beauty, which featured a frustrated, middle-aged father played by Kevin Spacey who has fantasies about having sex with his teenage daughter’s cheerleader friend, and in the process decides to relive his youth. Spacey’s character Lester Burnham nearly has sex with “Angela” until she confessed she was a virgin. Spacey won an Academy Award for the role. You see, it’s not just the famed “casting couch” that gets you places in Hollywood. The glamorization of the sexualization of minors really takes you places in “the biz”, too, it seems. To the top, in fact.

Only in Hollywood can being a sleaze, portraying a sleaze or directing a movie about one not land you in the gutter. Oh, wait, the same can be said for “Only in politics”, too. It’s no wonder Hollywood lefties and liberal politicos have such a special relationship.

And it goes without saying that it’s no wonder we have to continue to push back – against both.

Samuel L. Jackson pulls a Morgan Freeman – and Rep. Allen West goes off

I love, love, love, love this story!

Jackson recently joined his Hollywood colleague Morgan Freeman in calling members of the tea party racist.

“I think everything right now is geared toward getting that guy out of office, whatever that means,” Jackson told New York Magazine. “It’s not politics. It is not economics. It all boils down to pretty much to race. It is a shame.”

[On Fox News today] Allen, the only Republican member of the Congressional Black Caucus and a tea party favorite, blasted the actor’s comments and accused him of losing sight of more important issues like the high jobless rate among the country’s African-American community.

“Samuel L. Jackson, I guess, disregards the 16.7 percent unemployment rate in the black community, a 20 percent unemployment rate for black adult males and a 45-46 percent unemployment for black teenagers,” the Florida Republican said. “I think the racism that he is talking about is coming out of the White House and this administration.”

Ouch.  That must be what they mean when they say “the truth hurts.”

West warned Jackson against using the tea party movement as a “scapegoat,” insisting that conservatives are trying to fix the economy and turn around the unemployment numbers in the black community.

The perfect example? Herman Cain.

West said the Republican presidential candidate “negates” the recent comments by Jackson and Freeman.

How dare West let facts get in the way of a good ol’ fashioned ill-informed “rant”??  Would love to see him debate Jackson or Freeman any day of the week.  Wouldn’t be a fair fight, tho … for Jackson and Freeman.  As the saying goes, “Never show up for a battle of wits unarmed” …

Hollyweirdo Watch: Eva Longoria describes Obama’s opposition as “dangerous extremists”

I hope that by reading/watching actress Eva Longoria’s Tuesday comments to late night TV talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that the stupid doesn’t rub off on me.  Scott Whitlock at Newsbusters has the transcript (you can also watch video clips of Longoria’s remarks at that same link):

12:26am EDT

EVA LONGORIA: But you know what, it’s a special privilege to meet our commander in chief.

JIMMY KIMMEL: Sure, yeah.

LONGORIA: And, you know, I’m a big Obama supporter no matter what he’s been through. He’s been beaten up the past couple of years.

KIMMEL: Did you tell him that?

KIMMEL:  And was he receptive?

LONGORIA: Well, he’s been very receptive for me, because I’m a big advocate for Latino issues. And, so, he’s been a big listener and he’s done a lot of coalitions and a lot of round tables regarding what we want changed and-

KIMMEL: When you say he’s a big listener, you’re making fun of his ears?

LONGORIA No! No! You know, he keeps getting beat up lately because there’s such an extremist movement happening and it’s a very dangerous- For me, it’s very dangerous because it’s not the character of America. It’s really under attack. And he’s been governing in, like, a state of emergency since the time he went into office so we haven’t really seen him do what he can do.

Yeah – opposition to our Dear Leader is just sooo dangerous, Ms. Longoria.   Totally against what America’s all about. Yep.  Of course, I’m sure you (along with your left wing colleague Morgan Freeman) didn’t feel that way when you and your fellow Hollywood blowhards viscerally opposed President Bush, right? Of course not.   Since it was your side doing all the opposing and stuff.  And this motley crew of militant left wing haters/fanatics/extremists who routinely compared Presdient Bush to Hitler and wished for his arrest and/or death? I suppose that was more along the lines of the type of “patriotism” Hollywood types like you view as more like “the American way.”

And I won’t even START on all the things Barack Obama HAS done, contra to Longoria’s ridiculous assertion that “we haven’t really seen him do what he can do.” WTH?!

Seriously, Hollywood is getting more and more repulsive (not to mention more creepily fascistic) by the day.  So few sane folks in that crowd, outside of “Chuck” star Adam S. Baldwin and a few others.  Props to the few on the Hollywood right who are not afraid to be loud and proud about where they stand.  They are in a distinct minority and have earned our support.

Dear Morgan Freeman: Please bite me. Sincerely, (raci)ST

In re: this:

During an interview that airs Friday, CNN’s Piers Morgan asked the actor, “Has Obama helped the process of eradicating racism or has it, in a strange way, made it worse?”

“Made it worse. Made it worse,” Freeman replied. “The tea partiers who are controlling the Republican party … their stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term. What underlines that? Screw the country. We’re going to do whatever we can to get this black man out of here.”

On the strength of the tea party, he said: “It just shows the weak, dark, underside of America. We’re supposed to be better than that. We really are.”

Here’s video of Freeman’s remarks:

Hmmm. You know what I think would make America a better place? If ignorant, self-important left-wing nitwits would educate themselves beyond what the liberal MSM tells them to think. Once again, we have a case where a public figure in a position of great influence has taken the biased, tainted words and spin of ABC/CBS/NBC, black Democrat politicos and activists – and perhaps liberal blogs, too – and has mindlessly regurgitated their talking points as if to imply that he actually knows what he’s talking about.

Since he believes the Tea Party (and all conservatives for that matter) are so “racist”, I wonder if he views the black conservatives, especially those who have made their voices known since the election of Barack Obama to the presidency, to be “Uncle Toms” our “house slaves” like Harry Belafonte does? If he’s so concerned about race relations, why not stand up for the brave black conservatives who are under constant attacks from black liberals for “straying off the liberal plantation”? I wonder if this Hollywood pseudo-elitist has ever stopped to think for half a second about how racist, anti-America tripe from Obama’s longtime “spiritual mentor” has negatively impacted race relations in this country, how black Democrats and their asinine characterization of any and all opposition to this President as “racism” have set back race relations in this country, and how this President himself falsely classifying “Tea Party elements” as “racist” has not moved race relations forward in a way that “the enlightened class” told us this “post-racial” President would?

Not to mention how all of the bogus accusations mentioned above have devastatingly chilling effects on free speech, causing some people to fear speaking out against this administration’s policies for fear of the dreaded false accusation of racism?

To the Morgan Freemans of the world: THAT is what this country is supposed to be so much better than. Attempting to intimidate the political opposition into silence based on explosive false allegations that they are based on nothing more than “not liking the black man” is so far removed from everything this country is supposed to be about that I would think it would be obvious, especially to people who are supposed to be so much more “elevated” in status than I am. That is what the so-called “smart ones” should be preaching against. But no, they don’t. Because it’s so much better to buy wholesale into phony popular myths about a particular group of people rather than to actually think for yourself.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. And bigotry is a terrible thing in which to be engaged, especially when the bigots themselves are lodging false accusations of bigotry against others. Maybe one day Morgan Freeman and other Hollyweirdos will understand that. But I won’t hold my breath. Nor should you.

Update – 11:49 AM: My intrepid readers have pointed to this 2005 interview clip of Morgan Freeman from 60 Minutes, in which he said the best way to deal with the racism issue is to “stop talking about it.” Wonder what happened to that guy?

Memo to thuggish left wing “comedians”: Assassination “jokes” aren’t funny

Looks like yet another left winger didn’t get the “New Tone” memo. Via Daily Caller’s Jeff Poor:

Sometimes there is a line that is crossed between what appropriate for comedy and what’s likely off limits. But did comic Christopher Titus cross that line?

In an appearance on Monday’s “The Adam Carolla Show” podcast, Titus may have waded into that territory. In responding to a question about former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” in which Palin defended her interpretation of what happened during Paul Revere’s pre-Revolutionary War famous ride, Titus launched into a description of what he would do if Palin were elected.

“You know what man?” Titus said. “I am going to literally — if she gets elected president, I am going to hang out on the grassy knoll all the time, just loaded and ready — because you know what? It’s for my country. It’s for my country. If I got to sacrifice myself, it’s for my country.”

Do us all a favor, Titus.  Quit your day job.  Please.  l-)

In which I question Oprah’s intelligence

Oh my word. Check out these snippets from an interview Oprah Winfrey did with Parade magazine, which will appear in newspapers this coming Sunday. First, Oprah talks about Sarah Palin:

On Sarah Palin:
“I don’t know her so I can’t speak to [whether or not she’ll be a candidate]. But I would say that America’s going to fall in love with her from [her reality series, Sarah Palin’s Alaska]. When I saw that first episode, I went, ‘Whoa! She is charming and very likable.'”

Asked whether the thought of Palin’s running for office scares her, Oprah said: “It does not scare me because I believe in the intelligence of the American public.”

A clear cheap shot if there was one. But, in light of those remarks, the next ones are a real head-scratcher:

Can I ask about President Obama? Are you concerned, disappointed?
No. I think that no one understands until you’ve been in that seat the enormous pressure to please and satisfy everybody. And I think instead of being grateful for where we are and what he has done, we’ve forgotten that we were on the brink of a depression when he took over this office. And as everybody celebrates the holiday season and sits around with their families, regardless of your circumstance, we could’ve had breadlines. How soon we forget that.

And you would support him again?

Um, she believes in the “intelligence of the American people” even though a majority (with her help) elected a man with one of the thinnest resumes in Presidential history, who has proven over and over again how he’s not even close to being up to the task of actually leading it? She still supports this guy, is still making excuses for him after two years of epic failure on the most important domestic issue facing Americans today – the economy and unemployment? So, like assuming for purposes of discussion that Sarah Palin was the GOP nominee running against President Obama and the election were this year, Oprah would likely pull out all the big guns to try to help get Obama elected to another term – in spite of the fact “her guy” demonstrates daily that he along with his his trusty sidekick Vice President Gaffetastic are like the blind leading the blind upstream without a paddle and all that?

Heck – forget about worrying about the intelligence of the American people. What I’m wondering is where the heck is HER intelligence? I mean, I know she’s a liberal and all but even liberals are waking up to the reality that the country would be a lot better off if President Obama were still the junior Senator from Illinois rather than the “leader of the free world.” And regardless of what you think about Sarah Palin, surely she could do no worse than our pseudo-intellectual celebrity President.

Help me out here, please … :-\

Another liberal icon pulls out wallet in defense of “hero journalist” Assange

First it was disgraced liberal “documentarian” Michael Moore. Now Hustler publisher and fellow liberal icon Larry Flynt has stepped up to the plate to not only defend and support global scumbag Julian Assange, but also to – as Moore did – suggest that if Wikileaks had existed sooner the Iraq war might have been prevented. From Flynt’s HuffPo rant:

Let’s get something straight: Julian Assange is a journalist. You can argue that he is not practicing journalism the way you think it should be practiced — releasing classified U.S. State Department documents — but he’s a journalist nonetheless. And for many of us he’s a hero.

I’m sick and tired of the politicians and political pundits treating this man as if he were a criminal. If WikiLeaks had existed in 2003 when George W. Bush was ginning up the war in Iraq, America might not be in the horrendous situation it is today, with our troops fighting in three countries (counting Pakistan) and the consequent cost in blood and dollars.

Freakin’ outrageous. If this jackass was so concerned about bloodshed, he’d be 10,000% against the release of the Wikileaks documents because their exposure puts hundreds of thousands of ground forces – including US troops, intelligence agents, coaltion forces – not to mention civilians – in more danger than they were previously. It will also seriously endanger complicated but essential diplomatic relationships we have with other countries who have cooperated with us in the global war on terror.

This guy doesn’t give a d*mn about lives lost: This is all about the continued far left fight against the REAL “enemy” to them: President George W. Bush. They believe the Wikileaks documents expose GWB and his “warmonger administration” as nothing more than bloodthirsty power-seekers who used their justification for the Iraq war as a pre-text for their lust for “oil!!!!!” when in fact, contra to the moronic claims of these uber-left wingers, there is information contained within the documents that actually prove that BushCo were right on many aspects of the issue of WMDs and Saddam’s desire to reconstitute his WMD programs once he got the chance.

Not that you’ll ever find that reported in the mainstream media to any significant, meaningful extent.

As always, we can count on the repugnant liberal Hollywood elite to come to the defense of the lowest, dirtiest life forms on earth, including death row inmates like cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, brutal dictators like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez (more here), admitted child rapists like Roman Polanski, and now America-hater and sexual deviant/stalker / accused rapist Julian Assange.

The term “morally bankrupt” doesn’t quite cover this bunch, does it?

More words of “wisdom” from Whoopi about who commits terrorist acts

The NY Daily News reports that the Mistress of Misinformation and Bill O’Reilly sort of buried the hatchet yesterday from their now-infamous October spat over Muslim terrorism in which Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar stormed off the set:

It was round two for Whoopi Goldberg and Bill O’Reilly Tuesday, who faced off again just a month after their blowout on “The View.”

Goldberg appeared on the Fox host’s show to promote her new book and to talk about terrorism in the Muslim world – the topic that landed them in a dramatic clash last month.

Appearing much calmer than in their previous interaction, the two TV personalities shared a laugh over their fight.

After burying the hatchet, the hosts had a chance to revisit their conversation about Muslims and terrorism, and once again found themselves in disagreement.

“We have a Muslim problem in the world,” O’Reilly said. “90% of the terrorism comes out of that area.”

“What do you mean?” Goldberg said. “Terrorists come from everywhere.”

“No, predominantly they are Muslims,” O’Reilly countered.

“Right now, everybody can say Muslims are the terrorists,” Goldberg said. “Two years ago, it was the white people that were the terrorists.”

Gateway Pundit has the video (hat tip).

I’m going to pretend for five minutes that Whoopi Goldberg is a serious, credible, respected political commentator rather than a narcissistic, self-important “comedian” on The View, and will ask her the same questions I have asked other liberals when they try to play the moral equivalency card on the issue of global terrorism and who commits the vast majority of terrorist acts – Muslim extremists or white Christians:

What global white/Christian terrorist network trained Tim McVeigh?  How many instances can you point to where white Christians have trained to only fly but not land a plane?  How many white Christian terror cells/plots have been busted up worldwide?  What white Christian churches across the US and other countries provide safe havens and planning areas for white Christian terrorists? Who is the OBL equivalent amongst white Christian terrorists around the world?

I could go on and on, but the point has been made, I think.  As I said after last month’s dust-up between BillO, Whoopi, and Behar:

There is no issue that brings out the blatant hypocrisy, illogic, stupidity, and duplicitous nature of activist liberals more than when it comes to Christianity and the left’s outrageous attempts at equating rare and isolated incidents of extremism committed because of the mistaken belief by a tiny few wackos that the Bible promotes violence against non-believers, to the routine, worldwide Islamofascistic terrorism that is both promoted and mandated by the Koran itself. These are the real underlying facts of the matter that nitwits like Behar and Goldberg refuse to acknowledge, so instead of confronting the fact that Muslims DID kill thousands of innocents on 9-11 and in fact continue to do so, they come up with a case of the vapors and cut and run off the set until BillO apologizes.

Would someone, anyone, please buy these View women a clue? Please?
