Haunting phone call from WTC on 9-11
Allah has posted a link to the audio recording of the last call one 9-11 victim ever made (transcript here). This came out a few months ago but, like Allah, I hadn’t heard about it til this evening.

Drew McKissick at the Conservative Outpost has a column posted today that talks about a ballot initiative that will be voted on this fall in the state of Arizona. It’s something called the “Voter Reward Act”:
First, she and her “supporters” staked out a spot for several days last summer near the President’s ranch in Crawford, Texas in hopes of starting up a “dialogue” (yeah, right) with the Prez over the war in Iraq. Now she’s purchased property in Crawford:
Former Phoenix Suns superstar Charles Barkley is considering the possibility of running for Governor of Alabama in 2010. Nothing especially notable about that (outside of the celebrity factor) but what is worth noting is his announcement that if he did decide to seek the Alabama Governor’s office in 2010, he’d so so as a Democrat because he’s no longer a Republican. Yesterday, I noted the blogosphere buzz about the latest moonbat-esque rantings of DNC Chair Howie “Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaarggggh!” Dean. One such rant was his accusation that Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was an “anti-Semite” for not condemning Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel.
Isn’t this just typical? World leaders and other talking heads are crawling out of the woodwork to slam Israel for repeated aerial and artillary attacks near or on a UN post in southern Lebanon. As I noted in an earlier post this week, UN Sec. General Kofi Annan accused Israel of deliberately targeting the post, as if to suggest that it was UN workers themselves who were being targeted. They were not. Israel was targeting nearby Hezbollah terrorists who were using the UN post and surrounding areas as a cover of sorts. Via the UK Independent:
