I’m still swamped, but wanted to link up quickly to Patterico’s post on the LAT’s admission that a recent article they wrote on a 1994 attack on murdered rapper Tupac Shakur was based on, in part … fabricated documents.
This story has erupted in the blogosphere: Saddam Hussein’s money paid for Democrat Congressmen McDermott, Bonior, and Thompson to visit Iraq back in October 2002. That’s when McDermott made his controversial remarks where he urged us to give Hussein the benefit of the doubt but to mistrust Bush because, to McDermott, Bush was willing to deliberately mislead Americans in order to justify war with Iraq.

The week continues to get worse for Hillary Clinton, with the latest instance being John McCain’s asking her when she will apologize for the insult she made against General David Petraeus on 9/11/07. Here’s what she said at the time:
