I hate, hate, hate waterbugs, as much as I hate spiders, and more than I hate those annoying ants that pop up around this time of year.

Remember the little car problem I had last month that cost me close to $900 to get fixed, and the run-around I feel like I rec’d? Guess what? The car has been having the same problems again, and this morning it was to the point the car was smoking a little bit. So I took it in to the same place that fixed it initially, thinking surely it would be a warranty issue.

This has been one of those weeks where I’ve had a lot of trouble getting to sleep, and you know how you feel when you don’t get enough rest: tired, sluggish, irritable – not at your best. You sure don’t want to get up in the morning. Add to that, the after-effects of suffering from information overload, and feeling overwhelmed and frustrated from wanting to write so much about what you’re seeing but not having enough time in the day to do it – plus, cloudy skies and not a lot of sunlight, and you’ve got one moody blonde chica.
A new definition for “sick”
Sick: The feeling you get when you take your car in to get its rear passenger brake light and turn signal fixed, and also to get the mechanic to investigate a slight on and off burning scent you sometimes smell when you’ve been driving your car for more than thirty minutes, only to find out later the repair for it all – including the new timing belt you need – will cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of $900.

And I’m talking about the kind of drumroll Clark Griswold got from his family when he tried to light up his house for Christmas the first time around, because I’m just as big a Christmas geek as he is
