The shameless targeting of Hadassah Lieberman continues
It started with Jane Hamsher and other nitwits at the prominent liberal blog “Firedoglake.” Now even bigger guns have gotten involved: the HuffPo and the Daily Kos blog (a blog that is now calling Mrs. Lieberman “anti-American“). I should note that Hamsher is behind most of the efforts seen at other liberal websites, but the places she’s posting her message at (like HuffPo) and the places posting the message on her behalf are giving her the platform to spread her venom, so they are just as complicit for allowing it as she is for posting it.

… when Klein himself, a longtime proponent of socialized healthcare, is in favor of the public option, which in effect will give the existing Medicare panel more power to decide who gets what healthcare – as a form of “cost control”? Hadassah Lieberman, wife of US Senator Joe Lieberman and an accomplished woman in her own right, is the “Global Ambassador” for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure cancer foundation. This is a fact that clearly doesn’t sit well with prominent far-leftist blogger Jane Hamsher, who has been targeting Senator Lieberman since 2006 when she actively supported another far leftist – Ned Lamont – over him in an attempt to get the multi-term CT Senator out of office for straying from the liberal tent over the war in Iraq. Oh, and for the fact that he didn’t treat Bush as the bigger enemy than Al Qaeda. Hamsher, as you may recall, is the blogger infamous for posting the blackface photo of Joe Lieberman standing alongside Bill Clinton in what was most definitely a low point in her vicious attempts at having Lieberman voted out of office.
