Bill at INDC Journal has posted a moving story about 1st Lt. Travis Manion, who was killed by a sniper in Iraq on April 29th. As you’ll see from the story, 1st Lt. Manion’s heroics started early on his life, and continued on the battlefield. He was well-liked and respected by his fellow Marines, as well as members of the Iraqi army, who he fought alongside and who named a combat outpost after him.
Earlier today in my post on Iran’s Islamofascist “leader” and his attempts at trying to arrange a visit to Ground Zero, I briefly noted a couple of links which gave examples of a couple far lefties who were in sharp disagreement with conservatives on the issue of Ahmadinejad setting foot on Ground Zero.
