Two obituaries – one complimentary and one not so
Take a look at this obituary for Pham Xuan An, a reporter for Time magazine who was also a spy for the Viet Cong. He passed away on Sept. 20th at the age of 79.
Democrat demagoguing of Foley scandal extends to campaign ads
Dean Barnett has the lowdown on a new and very deceptive ad on the Foley scandal being run by Patty Wetterling, the Democratic candidate for Minnesota’s 6th Congressionial district. Here’s the money quote from the ad:
If Foley were convicted of [insert sex charge here] and Bush pardoned him …
…. how would the Democrats react?

Ms. Magazine will have a fall issue out next week which will feature story on women who had abortions, along with the names of ‘thousands’ of women across the country who want to openly declare it. Via AP:
Airliner hijacked in Greek airspace
Greg Tinti has the details on this developing story. There are two hijackers, and reports from Turkish Airlines are that no passengers have been harmed. This was done apparently to protest the Pope’s upcoming visit to Turkey.
